Indio, California – Weekend 2 of Coachella 2026 kicked off on Friday night with major star power and long-awaited redemption moments, proving once again why the desert festival remains one of the biggest events in music.
Sabrina Carpenter delivered a show-stopping headlining performance on the Coachella Stage, bringing out pop icon Madonna as a surprise guest and Academy Award winner Geena Davis for a special monologue. Later in the night, Italian DJ and producer Anyma finally delivered his highly anticipated “ÆDEN” live show after weather issues forced him to cancel during Weekend 1.

Sabrina Carpenter, one of the most talked-about headliners of the year, took the stage Friday night and delivered a high-energy, theatrical performance filled with surprises. The biggest moment came when Madonna joined her onstage during the song “Juno.”
The Queen of Pop appeared to thunderous applause, performing a torch-passing duet of her classic hit “Vogue,” followed by “Like a Prayer” and a new track titled “I Feel Free” from her upcoming album. The collaboration between the pop superstar and the rising generation’s breakout star created one of the most memorable moments in recent Coachella history.
Earlier in the set, Geena Davis made an appearance, delivering a spoken-word monologue in a Thelma & Louise-themed segment — taking over the role Susan Sarandon played during Weekend 1. The cinematic cameo added a humorous and nostalgic touch to Carpenter’s already theatrical production.
One of the most anticipated moments of Weekend 2 was finally realized when Anyma (Matteo Milleri) took the stage late Friday night to present his ambitious “ÆDEN” live show. His Weekend 1 set was canceled at the last minute due to strong wind conditions that made the complex stage production unsafe.
Fans who waited an extra week were not disappointed. Reports from the festival describe the performance as visually stunning and musically powerful, marking a successful redemption for the Italian techno artist.
Weekend 2 continues to offer slight variations from the first weekend, including adjusted set times and some new additions to the lineup. The festival atmosphere remains electric as attendees enjoy perfect desert weather compared to the wind issues that affected the previous weekend.
Coachella 2026 features headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G across the two weekends, with a strong supporting lineup including The xx, Teddy Swims, and many others.
Weekend 2 runs through Sunday, April 19, with Justin Bieber and Karol G still to headline on subsequent nights. More surprise guests and special performances are expected as the festival continues.
For those unable to attend in person, many sets are being livestreamed on YouTube, allowing fans worldwide to experience the magic of Coachella 2026.
